Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Avryq. By creating an account or using the app you agree to be bound by them.

Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Avryq ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the Avryq mobile application and website at avryq.app (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Avryq. By registering, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
- The information you provide during registration is accurate and complete
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To use Avryq you must register with a valid email address and create a password. When registering you agree to:
- Provide your real first and last name, a valid email address, and a phone number
- Choose a username between 3 and 20 characters using only letters, numbers, and underscores
- Set a password of at least 6 characters
- Agree to Avryq's Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service during the sign-up flow
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Not share your password or allow others to access your account
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Not create accounts for others without their consent
- Not create more than one account per person
User-Generated Content
What You Can Post
Avryq allows you to create and share:
- Posts — text updates with up to 3 images
- Events — with a title, description, date, time, location, and cover image
- Comments and replies on posts and events
- Reposts of posts, events, and membership board posts with optional commentary
- Direct messages to other users
- Board posts within memberships you belong to
- Drafts — posts and events saved locally before publishing
Your Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to post the content
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Your content complies with our Community Guidelines and all applicable laws
License You Grant Avryq
By posting content on Avryq, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You retain all ownership rights in your content. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to our data retention policy.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.
Memberships
Creating Memberships
You may create a Membership of type Business, University, or Group. As a membership creator you become its primary admin and agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the membership
- Ensure the membership and its content comply with these Terms and Community Guidelines
- Manage member access and admin permissions responsibly
Membership Privacy Levels
- Public — anyone can find and join instantly
- Private — anyone can find it, but joining requires admin approval
- Hidden — only reachable via direct invite; not discoverable in search
Admin Permissions
Membership creators can grant other members granular admin roles. Admins may manage members, publish board posts, and adjust membership settings within the permissions granted to them. Misuse of admin access to harass or abuse members is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Create fake events designed to mislead or defraud other users
- Spam other users with unsolicited messages, posts, or reposts
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically extract data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Circumvent any access controls or security features
- Upload malware, viruses, or any other malicious code
- Use the Service for any commercial solicitation without our prior written consent
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Real-Time Chat
Avryq provides real-time direct messaging between users. Messages are transmitted and stored to deliver the Service. You agree that:
- You will not use chat to harass, threaten, or solicit other users
- You will not share illegal content, spam, or unsolicited promotional material via direct messages
- Avryq may review flagged messages to enforce these Terms and Community Guidelines
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding user-generated content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Avryq. Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used without our prior written permission.
Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Avryq is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any user-generated content posted on the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Avryq and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
